My life as a CBS employee started in 1980. I have worked in TV maintenance for little over 30 years.
The last 18 was with KCBS. Most of my years was in the ENG maintenance.
In early December 1997 I did retire from working and in 1998 we left Southern California and moved
to Idaho. My wife Vivi and I like our life here in South Western Idaho.
In 2002 I got a phone call from KCBS and was asked if I could come down and help them in ENG
maintenance and I did go down for 4 months. In 2003, I was called again and that year I was down a
total of 5 months. I should say the reason for calling me down was that CH 9 was moving into the
same building and a that was a big job to prepare the station to have 2 stations operate in the same
Building.
But now I'm retired again and it feels good.
My golf interest is still high and I play 2 to 3 times a week, actually feels like I live on the Centennial
golf course here in Nampa. I work as a Marshall at this golf course. That means that I don't pay for
golf, so it's a wonderful job for a retired guy.
