"At twenty years of age, the will reigns; at thirty, the wit; and at forty, the judgment; at 70+, the recollection."

After working at KCMO radio in Kansas City, Missouri I moved to Los Angeles and started my career with CBS. My starting date was April 1952. My starting salary was $50 per week!  I started in radio, KNX Columbia Square. After a couple years I was transferred to TV. I did audio on the news at the Vine Street Studio. I believe I was the youngest kid working for CBS technical. Channel 2 moved from Vine Street to the newly built studios at Columbia Square, I moved with them.

I worked for CBS a total of 36 years.

I retired in April 1988.
