Indeed, I intend to contribute to your golden, olden days Web site for KNXT, but first I've got to get my USC and Loyola  Marymount classes in order. However, I did try to write a quick reply to Sam Zelman's note on The Big News site, but couldn't because it required a user name and a password. I'm sure that in time I will register properly, and then contribute whatever I remember. The one thing I was trying to reply to is Sam's recollection of The Big News opening. It was: "From the desert to the sea, TO (not 'from') all of Southern California, a good evening."  I know the line well because I wrote it every night for endless years.

And I do have a a funny story about it, if I ever get into the Web site.
