July 5 1972 I started working at "KNXT-TV" in Telecine. I replaced Al Arce on "ENG" in 1973.

Rey Hernandez replaced Bill Conroy on eng in 1974.

With reporters Bob Simmons and Bill Deiz we aired the "SLA" shootout at 54th and Compton, Friday May 17, 1974.

Without Rey's help and support I could not have carried the Norelco PCP 90 camera that day for almost six live broadcast hours.

We all were awarded golden mikes and local Emmys.

From 1987 to my retirement May 25, 2007 I worked inside the studio, the last assignment being robotic camera operator for the live news show in the morning.
